In India, every year March 4 is observed as ‘National Security Day’ to praise the work of Security Forces, who play a major role in maintaining peace and security of the people in India. The day is also known as “Rashtriya Suraksha Diwas”. This day is dedicated to all the security forces such as Defence Services, Central Police Organizations, Paramilitary Forces and other persons involved in security, who always work for strengthening the nation. These people work continuously to have peace and harmony in our country. They need to be encouraged and thus this day is celebrated to honour those who are working continuously for the nation. Rashtriya Suraksha Diwas is the solemn occasion to remind each one of us about our personal duties towards the country.
